Hello my name is Gary Meadors. I have been fishing most all my life, I use to commercial fish Grenada Lake. Grenada Lake is no doubt the best big crappie lake in America, It has a 12 inch length size limit, and in a lot of the states a 12 inch crappie is a big crappie, not so on Grenada Lake.I have caught quite a few 3 pound plus crappie, I have a wall mount with 3 crappie mounted together that are 2- 3 1/2 pounders and 1- 3 3/4 pounder.

I can help put you on that trophy crappie of a life time.Best times to fish for that 3 pound crappie is the spawn in March and April, and during the fall.

My rates are($150 Deposit) $350 dollars for one or two people for a full days fishing, I will furnish boat and gas, poles and rod and reels, all bait and jigs. You furnish your lodging, Ms. license, your snacks and drinks, and rain gear and life jackets I will help you fillet and bag your fish. Be sure to bring a cooler for your fish if your intending on taking your fish home.Huge White State Park has cabins on the lake for about $ 70 dollars per night. I will provide all information you need to have a great trip to Grenada Lake.

Crappie Pro John Woods has started a guide business on the big four Mississippi lakes, Arkabutla, Sardis, Enid, and Grenada Lake. These Four Lakes are renowned to hold without a doubt the largest Crappie in the Country.

For those who don't know John Woods, he is half the Pro Tournament team McIntosh and Woods that fish the Pro Tournament Trails across the country with Crappie Master's and Crappie USA, and have won many tournaments, and in 2005 and 2006 were National Grand Champion's.

John has been tournament fishing for twenty years and is sponsored by B&M pole company, so he used's top of the line equipment, and fish's out of a 20 foot Nitro boat fully loaded.

Rates are a flat $350 for one or two people, with a $150 deposit per fishing day.

John will provide all B&M 14 ft. poles with reels, 20 foot Nitro bass boat fully
loaded with 175 hp Mercury motor, and life jacket's. All you furnish is your
lodging, license, rain gear, snacks and drinks you intend to eat and drink while
fishing.

Be sure to bring a large cooler for your fish to transport, also John does
not clean fish...sorry.


You will fish 8 full hours, or until you catch your limit of crappie, which ever comes
first. John has the patience of a first grade school teacher, if your a beginner to
crappie fishing, he will give you all the help you need,
